Eye surgeries save little Scarlett’s sight
At 8 months old Scarlett was diagnosed with Primary Congenital Glaucoma.
Within hours of a sent referal, the Opthalmology department contacted us and the next morning we made our first of many trips to RCH.
8 weeks later, Scarlett has now had 4 anesthetics with multiple operations on her eyes and although we are still within the battle to stabilise her eye pressure we appear to be winning.
She has the most amazing team looking after her, they have been nothing but kind and their expertise is incredible.
We cannot thank Dr Ruddle and his team enough for caring for our daughter and allowing her to keep her sight.
