Pubs have always been at the heart of the Community and especially the Good Friday Appeal Community. Across the years, many pubs have produced incredible results gathering their communities together and digging deep to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal.

Thats why, in this 2025 appeal, our Pubs and Hotels campaign is back and spreading its wings wider than before! Supported by AHA, the Good Friday Appeal is encouraging pubs across Victoria and beyond to join in the joy and fundraise.

Looking for some inspiration? Here’s how some of our fantastic community raised funds last year.

Robin Hood Inn – Drouin West

As a challenge the Robinhood donated 1% of sales over 9 weeks, and hosted a container for those on the bar donations, raising an amazing $8,097 last year. Find them Here

The Grand Hotel – Warrandyte

The Grand Hotel brought out their best by raising funds using their Friday Night Meat Tray Raffle! Proceeds from the March raffles went to the GFA. Not only that, $2 from their special Parma of the Month also went towards the appeal. Find them Here

Star Hotel- Sale

As part of their fundraising efforts the Star Hotel hosted 3 special trivia nights. Over 3 months, patrons could chuck in a gold coin donation to participate in the trivia, while raising funds for the appeal. Find them Here

Nikakis Hospitality brought their best, supporting the Royal Children’s Good Friday appeal through its annual “Parma for the Kids” campaign. With a history spanning over 30 years and over $700,000 raised for the cause, Nikakis Hospitality remains dedicated to giving back to the community, utilising three venues for their campaign.
