We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who donate their time and talent for the Good Friday Appeal. We are heading into an exciting time of the year, the AFL Grand Final!
Grand Final Posters
Each year Mark Knight creates the Premiership Poster of the winning team and the Good Friday Appeal generously receives the proceeds.
On Saturday 30 September an army of volunteers come together to sell the Premiership Poster straight after the siren at the MCG.
It is a wonderful atmosphere, with a rush of selling as the Grand Final attendees pour out of the stadium, keen to buy their commemorative poster.
Our wonderful community collection group, the Pied Pipers coordinates all of the volunteers and if you are interested in helping, please fill in your expression of interest below.
Helping in the Good Friday Appeal Office
|To get ready for all of the Grand Final excitement, we are seeking volunteers.
This includes preparing poster tubes ready to post, rolling and labelling posters ready to send. Our office is located in Southbank, opposite Flinders Street Station. Refreshments and lollies are always on hand!
Please indicate below any days that suit you and we will be in touch.
Volunteering on Good Friday
We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who assist on Good Friday. You may have seen volunteers answering phones but that’s not the only role volunteers help us with on Good Friday. Our volunteers;
- count hundreds of collection containers of money that our generous community donate at intersections, outside shopping centres and all of the loose change that is put into a tin
- helping visitors find their way around at Australia’s largest one day family friendly event, Kids Day Out
- selling bunny ears at ‘Kick for the Kids’ at Etihad Stadium
- plus so many more …
If you are interested in helping us with one of the roles above, please complete our expression of interest form and we will be in touch in January 2018. Thank you!
We have two collection groups who are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help them fundraiser for the Good Friday Appeal.
The RCH Pied Pipers has built a reputation as one of the key voluntary groups supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
