Kids Day Out 2025 will be back bigger than ever on Friday 18th April 2025.
Planning is well underway for Melbourne’s biggest and best free family day.
Entry to the event is still free and all funds raised through activities will go to The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Once again the event is possible thanks to the generous support of:
Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and The City of Melbourne.
2024 Message from the Lord Mayor of Melbourne
The Good Friday Appeal Kids Day Out is one of the most beloved family-friendly events of the year.
The City of Melbourne is a proud long-time supporter of the Kids Day Out, a day that brings people together while raising money for the incredibly important Royal Children’s Hospital.
Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, it is full of activities for young and old including a fun fair, classic cars show, sporting zone and of course, the heart-warming Teddy Bear Hospital.
All donations from the day go directly to the hospital to continue its work across ground-breaking research, fund state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and family-focused care programs.
The Royal Children’s Hospital has been helping children across Victoria for more than 150 years – this is your chance to give back and make lasting memories with your family at the same time.
We hope to see you – and your teddy bear – on Good Friday.
Sally Capp AO
Lord Mayor
